Join us Saturday, February 7th, 11:00am at the Veterans Memorial Building in downtown Santa Cruz! Celebrate Black History Month with a concert by Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir!

Ms.Tillery has been both a singer and percussionist for Taj Mahal, Bobby McFerrin, Holly Near, Eric Bibb, Sweet Honey in the Rock and many others. Linda Tillery’s vision is to research, record and perform the music of the African diaspora.

The Cultural Heritage Choir is a Grammy © nominated, percussion driven, vocal ensemble. Performing together since 1992, the Cultural Heritage Choir creates dynamic rhythms and sparkling energy on stage. Their vocals are lush and vibrant; their performances are interactive and uplifting.

“What makes our concerts fun for kids is that they can really get involved in the music. We teach them rhythms, get them singing, clapping and dancing so it feels more like a party than a concert.”

This is a concert for all ages! Bring your mom, dad, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors. Enjoy breakfast before-hand or lunch after at any of our fine Santa Cruz establishments and make it a whole Downtown Santa Cruz Family Fun Day!
