The DANMite Graduate Series continues with Meredith Drum, movie-maker interactive story-teller, and Levi Goldman, interactive sculpture.

Meredith Drum is a cinema artist. Her work has recently exhibited at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Anthology Film Archives, Participant Inc., Monkey Town, Galapagos Art Space, Artport Projects at Focus 09 during Art Basel, Museo Valenciano de la Illustracion y la Modernidad, Valencia, Spain, Fales Library and Archive at NYU and published online on the New York Times Tmagazine and Good Magazine.

You can find Meredith’s video work on Vimeo.

Levi Goldman is sculptor and digital artist. Levi’s installation is called,  Completion Inc., and is a blend of formal sculpture, robotics, and interactive programming. Viewers are invited to navigate a landscape of kinetic artworks, commodity objects, and prosthetic devices. These art works sense and interpret viewers’ bodies and make corresponding movements throughout the space. The project considers identity formation with regard to body extension, commodity culture and objects of desire, urging the viewer to consider different ways people extend and/or fragment the body.

The DANM MFA Permutations Exhibition dates are April 30–May 1 & May 5–8 at the DARC on the west side of UCSC campus.  Gallery hours are 10AM-4PM.
