For the November 10, 2009 KZSC radio show Artists on Art, Ian Phillips and Otto Markel were the guests talking about the Santa Cruz High School upcoming performances of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The show premieres Friday the 13th of November with 4 performances over two weekends (the 13-14 and 20-21). All shows start at 7:30pm with doors opening at 7pm.  Ian is the director and Otto is performing the role of the Madhatter.

The theatrical presentation is completely student run. Over the years I’ve had the pleasure to see many performances given by the drama lovers at Santa Cruz High school. I have always been struck and frankly surprised by the great quality of work enboldened by free young artists. This idea is articulated much better during the course of the show. One more quick note, this was the first time for both Ian and Otto to be on the radio. They did a terrific job.
