Mother and daughter Artists, Mary and Mara Waldhorn were the guests for the last Artist on Art Interview of 2012, on December 27th.

Mary Waldhorn is an artist who has taught art for the past 35 years.   She works in drawing and painting and has shown her work at The Washington Women’s Arts Center,

The Art Barn, McGuire Fine arts, The Delaplane Arts Center and the Crestwood Gallery.
She will be giving classes on painting and meditation at Fox Haven Farms in Jefferson, Maryland, in February, 2013.

We talked Mara’s current DIY Furniture project, her documentary Bienvenido  as well as receiving her Masters of Arts in the Social Documentary in the Film and Digital Media at UCSC.
